JENNY Bow

The creator of Jenny Bow, Jenny Damm, talks about her passion for dog training:

"The cornerstones that build my dog ​​training are motivation, joy, clear rules, trust, patience, good attitude, humility and a good relationship.

Dogs have developed an ability to read our body language through 1,000 years of domestication and coexistence with humans. This is what I try to work with and start from in all my dog ​​training, not least in agility. We spend an enormous amount of time and energy on basic training of our dogs and it is only the imagination that sets limits to what we can teach them.

I give it my all and appreciate that my students do the same. But dog training should always be fun, so I try to include a large portion of humor in my requirements at the same time."

"Using hoops in slalom training makes training fun and easy. Frustration decreases and independence increases. Let the bows help the dog to succeed instead of you yourself having to be there and having to prove yourself right. Use the hoops to teach slalom from scratch, or hone ins and outs. We have been using hoops in our slalom training for over 10 years and it has produced brilliant results.”
