The Zero DC harness FASTER is developed for pulling and fits very well on dogs with a deep chest (e.g. Dobermann, Vorsteh, and several other working dogs). They are specially developed to avoid chafing on short-haired breeds but also work well on the longer-haired Nordic breeds. The harness has a low attachment point and is suitable for all types of pulls. It is made of a non-absorbent material and is frost and winter proof.
The need for a new harness arose in connection with the introduction of bird dogs and working dogs in the draft dog sport. The classic harness, in spite of all possible improvements, slips up especially on the short-haired breeds with deep chests and causes chafing with the consequence that it did not allow full use of the draft in the new form of racing. With this harness, Zero DC wants to achieve the perfect harness that sits close to the body, utilizes maximum traction distributed over the chest and shoulders, while maintaining the free movement of the limbs and rear of the dog.
The basis of the new design was tactical vehicle systems, tactical vests and the construction of various types of facilities for the movement of goods. This has meant that the harnesses meet all conditions for distribution of maximum traction, they do not slide, provide free movement for the back and have no contact with the dog's neck, thus allowing free breathing. Reflex is sewn in so that the dog can be seen from all sides.
The design is protected as an industrial design, industrial property right under No. PVZ 2007 to 37.284.
