Traffic safety is important, especially for our four-legged friends who often travel loose in the car. That's why Hurtta has designed the Travel Harness ECO - the dog's own safety harness.
In some vehicles, there is room for the dog to travel in the back seat of the car or in the trunk. Often people prefer the back seat where they can be a little closer to their best friends. It's also a good place because you can then use the seat belts in the back seat to fasten your dog.
The Travel Harness ECO car harness from Hurtta fits all standard seat belts, and unlike many car dog harnesses, no separate adapter is needed.

The car harness has literally been put to the test in ten official crash tests to ensure that it meets statutory and Hurtta's own personal high standards. The harness is made of very strong and durable materials and its design structure is safe for your dog. Selenium also contains recycled ECO materials.
Thanks to its well-thought-out design, the Hurtta Travel Harness ECO is comfortable for dogs to wear, especially since it allows them to sit, stand or lie down during transport. The harness does not restrict the dog's movements when it changes position. And you can find your dog's perfect fit and fine-tune your dog's comfort level using the adjustment points at the neck, chest and waist.
It is easy to put on the travel harness. It is similar to the way of a Y harness. First place the harness over the dog's head and then pass the shaped and padded chest section through the front legs. Then attach the chest section to the upper section with our specially designed slide and lock fittings that are quick and easy to click into place. When the harness is on and the dog is in place, you pass the car's seat belt through the sturdy loop attached to the back of the harness. Then you simply fasten the car's seat belt in the same way as you do your own. As simple as that. And because you use the car's existing seat belt, it's super easy to let the dog out for toilet breaks and to stretch its legs and run around outside for a while during longer car journeys.

The corrosion resistance of the metal parts has been tested in the laboratory according to the standard EN ISO 9227 : 2017 (E) and has been found to meet the established quality requirements (SGS).
